The Israeli field hospital has started operating in Ukraine

In the west of Ukraine, as part of the Israeli humanitarian mission, a field hospital has opened, providing medical care to 60 Israeli health workers representing medical institutions from all over Israel. The Embassy of Ukraine to the State of Israel announced this on its Facebook page.

«The hospital will provide assistance primarily to internally displaced persons, women and children affected by the war waged by Russia in Ukraine. Doctors have already started work», – the statement reads.

The Embassy said that the humanitarian mission of Israeli doctors Kochav Meir (shining star) was named after the first woman in the post of Prime Minister of Israel Golda Meir, who was a native of Ukraine.
